A note from the founder

“When I finished school, nobody handed me a map. Which form first? Who signs what? Did I even need the diagnostic privilege, and would my hours count toward it? Then my job changed, and every answer changed with it.

Licensure Hours is the map I wanted. I really hope it makes this easier for you.”

Meli Pil · Founder

Years of hours, ready to sign at the end.

  • “Will these hours even count?”

Each week is checked against your board’s rules for your license as you log it. If one can’t count, you see why now.

  • “What if my supervisor leaves before they sign?”

Your dated record of every week stays with you, and they can confirm weeks from a link as you go, while the weeks are fresh.

  • “I changed jobs. Now what?”

Your hours there can still count if that job and supervisor qualified, and that supervisor’s form is ready right away.

  • “I’m already partway through.”

Add your job with its real start date, then fill in the weeks you’ve already worked.

Practice the way the exam asks

Every answer says why the best choice wins and the tempting one loses. A plan for each day, then a timed simulation. No pass promises, no subscription.

Try one question · ASWB Masters and Clinical

A woman staying at a domestic violence shelter tells the social worker she has decided to return tonight to a partner who has been violent. What should the social worker do FIRST?

Pick an answer. You will see why the best one wins, and why the tempting one does not.

Availability and a possible changeA possible change, not adopted: the Board of Behavioral Sciences has proposed making the AMFTRB national exam California’s LMFT clinical exam, in place of the current Clinical Exam, from July 1, 2027 or later. The proposal is on hold; the Board's next meeting is on November 19–20, 2026. Until the Board adopts a change, you take the current Clinical Exam, and this prep is for it. If the Board makes that change, everyone who has bought Clinical Exam prep gets AMFTRB exam prep included.

If the board says something different, the board is right

    • Official sources only

Every rule comes from the board’s own pages, regulations and forms, linked where you read it.

    • Dated checks

Each guide shows the day its sources were last checked, and is checked again when a board changes a page.

    • Corrections the same day

If something here is wrong, write to us. We fix it the day we confirm it.

    • The board has the last word

If your board says something different, the board is right. We say where it hasn’t said.

How we check facts About Licensure Hours

    Questions

    Is this official?

No. We are independent and not affiliated with NYSED, the New Jersey Board of Social Work Examiners or the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Each step links the official page or form, so you can check it yourself.

    Do you submit my forms?

No. We fill in what we can from your record. You and your supervisors sign and send everything, as your board requires.

Does my supervisor need an account?

No. They get a link by email, see the weeks you sent, and confirm them in their browser. Nothing to install, nothing to remember.

What does it keep about me?

Your hours, never client records. You can export everything, any time, and it’s yours to keep.

    Which licenses do you cover?

In New York: the LCSW (LMSW to LCSW), the LMHC (MHC-LP to LMHC) and the LMFT (Limited permit to LMFT). In New Jersey: the LCSW (LSW to LCSW). In California: the LMFT (AMFT to LMFT). Exam prep: ASWB Masters and Clinical and California Law and Ethics and Clinical. Another license or state is added only after its rules are researched one by one, so it is right rather than fast.

Can you promise I'll be approved, or pass my exam?

No. Your board decides every application, and no practice set can promise a pass. What we do is keep your record straight, check each week against the published rules, and show you what comes next.
