A minute a week, and nothing to rebuild at the end

Each week

Log in the Weekly Log’s lines

Each week by the Board’s categories, toward the 3,000 hours and the 104 weeks.

Toward your LMFT: 117 of 3,000 hours, 9 of 104 weeks, 72 of 1,750 direct clinical counseling; one more signed week moves each.

From Today, with an example account.

Years of hours. A signature every week.

  • “Does this week have enough supervision?”

The weekly unit is checked for each setting as you log, including the extra hour after more than 10 hours of direct counseling.

  • “Am I close to the caps?”

The 40-hour week, the 1,300 before your degree and the 1,250 nonclinical are added up for you, as the law sets them.

  • “The law changes in 2027.”

AB 1598 and SB 1445 are in the rule data, with the dates they take effect, and explained in a free guide.

  • “I have more than one supervisor.”

Each supervisor and setting gets its own log and its own Experience Verification.

How we check the facts

Meli Pil, the founder of Licensure Hours

A note from the founder

“When I finished school, nobody handed me a map. Which form first? Who signs what? Then my job changed, and every answer changed with it.

Licensure Hours is the map I wanted. I really hope it makes this easier for you.”

Questions

Is this official?

No. Licensure Hours is independent and not affiliated with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Every rule links the Board's own page or the law, and the Board decides every application.

Do telehealth hours count?

The Board's FAQ says there is no limit on telehealth hours toward the supervised experience. Supervision by video counts as face-to-face; supervision by phone does not.

Does my supervisor still sign the Weekly Log each week?

Yes. The regulation asks your supervisor to sign your log every week, and you keep the signed logs until you are licensed. The app keeps the weeks ready for that signature and for the Experience Verification at the end.

Does my supervisor need an account?

No. They get a link by email, see the weeks you sent, and review them in their browser. It is free for them.

What does it cost?

Free for 30 days, no card. Then $60 once for your whole LMFT, or $20 a year. Your supervisor never pays.
